We have a fabulous opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Food & Beverage Manager to join us at our beautiful exclusive use wedding venue.

Responsibilities
Lead the front of house team. Ensure site is set up in accordance with the couple’s requirements Adhere to budgets and ensure targets are met Manage event rotas for bar and waiting teams Manage and deliver food service Recruit front of house teams, train, develop, and appraise Manage the pricing, stock control, stock takes, and ordering Ensure that all risk assessments, Health & Safety regulations and EHO standards are adhered to.
Required Skills
Experience in leadership and organisation of busy events Ability to communicate clearly with both kitchen and servers Experience of delivering a food service to events of up to and more than 200 people Strong understanding of food and allergies An exceptional eye for detail Experience of working behind a bar within a busy venue Clear understanding of the workings of a busy bar & the delivery therein Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be highly organised, numerate, proactive, and approachable Ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with the unexpected Experience in financial reporting and budgeting Some experience in recruiting & training staff, as well as organising rotas, in line with company budgets Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues.
Prepared to work evenings, weekends, and shift patterns that the business requires Gregarious and diplomatic with the ability to work under pressure Due to the location of the venue, you will need to hold a driving license and have your own car.
