The Venue Group are looking for a passionate Wedding & Events Manager based at Ashton Lodge.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a passion for excellent customer service, and be able to work in a small team.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a personalised service to remember. As an experienced Weddings & Events Manager who is organised, a great communicator and who loves weddings, you will be helping our lovely couples plan their big day. This will include guiding them through their drinks and menu selections, organising guest lists and suppliers, as well as providing guidance and support right through into their wedding day.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience Required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent organisational skills, problem solving and time management.
  • Comfortable giving direction and being flexible with changing requirements.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time up to 12hours.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full time in the UK.
  • Own transport is essential.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise all event details from start to finish including menu planning, drinks requirements and wedding day timeline.
  • Ensure all wedding day activities are delivered to the required standards and on time.
  • Ensure the event follows all health and safety standards required.
  • Scheduling meetings within required time to ensure prompt invoicing.

Qualifications:

  • First Aid – Preferred.
  • Personal Licence – Preferred.
  • Fire Training – Preferred.
